Huset Ved Kongens Have (The House By the King's Garden). Bar and Galley - just opened last week. They don't have a website yet, but this month exhibition is by Casper Balslev. www.casperbalslev.com. A friend of mine works there and she has offered to show you around if you feel like it. It's a small place though, so it's not like you'll get lost.

Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. Started by Carl Jacobsen (famous brewer), this is one of Northern Europe's oldest collection. One thing is the art, another is the interior. Especially the core of the place is beautiful and definitely worth visiting. (They have lovely cakes in the café there as well). www.glyptoteket.dk

Summerbird. Danish chocolate! Their Flødeboller (creamballs!) are amazing, and you need to try them. It's like a little tart with a lot of whipped cream on top of it and then finished off with chocolate, yum! www.summerbird.dk (It's right next to Illum)

SHOPS

Normann CPH. Nice store for designer furniture and clothes. If not interested in buying it is just worth a visit for the interior decoration they usually have. Currently a friend of mine who designed a big "Ball" has it on display there now.
